myself and gadge were talking about it yesterday, i need to pick up a cheap gas stove this week sometime.

Steady chaps - it's going to be a blummin nightmare if stoves are fired up all over the place in a busy and narrow safezone at lunchtime. If you use cookers outside be prepared for rain (I suppose the mouth of the tunnel would be OK).

For breakfast bear in mind you are going to have to be up early and kit cleared out ASAP - easiest solution is to nip out to the nearby roadside snap wagon.

There will be lunch provided. It was chilli last time - they use a catering slow cooker thingy cooking overnight. IIRC there was a microwave there so that is a possibility for individual use.

I wasnt meaning to cook in the safezone heh more meant outside even if its raining as I doubt I can eat the chilli. and no worries I'll be up, cooked, and ready with brekfast and cleared away in plenty of time besides prob cant eat what the snack wagon sells unless i want 2 rashers of bacon on a plate

Its in the greater name of mankind and the rest of you that I will not be eating chilli nor a bacon butty, I could have the bread but hardly going to keep me going so I shall be mostly having PODDIDGE mmmm for which I'll just need heated water (assume tea urn will suffice that) and a cuppa. Dinner hmmm as said if theres Jacket spuds I can have the tattie so if on offer I will make use of that, just won't be risking the chilli, no offense to whoever makes it, I really like chilli, unfortunately the feelings aren't reciprocated and it doesn't like me so rather than let it make me ill it will be a pass on that for me as well.

Thought I'd better say that I won't be having the chilli, yup I'm another one with a dodgy tum .

Can someone confirm whether there's a microwave and will we be able to use it? as that will help me plan what I can bring with me to eat, otherwise it's going to be whatever I can heat up over a camping stove.

pahh , all im haveing is german rye bread (i tastes lovley , honest ) some beer in green bottles, some acorn coffee and some apple strudel .

i may eat some captured allied chocolate too ( cadburys wrapped in tinfoil and brown paper )

Is that a polite request that the allies take such confectionary ? Never heard of acorn tea, sounds intruiging and vile at the same time
